Why my 2nd hdd not formating or working
My laptop's second hard drive is not showing anything but the icon. I tried formatting it but it is not formatting.

Have you tried going to Disk Mangement (diskmgmt.msc) and looking for your driver there?
You may need to apply a drive letter and then reformat it.
Let us know how it goes.

What kind of drive is it? SATA, etc. What does your computer see? Does it appear at all in Device Manager or DiskManagement? Drive or connector may be defective. Do you have an external USB connector/case or another computer to test it in?

The error message is-
d:/ is not accessible.
Parameter is incorrect.
