Disappointing DC Input Replacement

Symptoms: No power from adapter from adapter or it's indicator light ring (two known, working, proper adapters were tried); battery has full charge; DC Input was replaced (re-connects were double checked); RAM is seated properly; PRAM seems fine; resets preformed numerous times in proper order; still equal: NO power.

I have read that a dead Logic Board will still produce a light from the adapter if the DC is fine. Some of the symptoms seem odds though I am coming to terms with the idea of replacing the LB. However, Logic Board and HD both did not receive abuse or display any symptoms prior to the systemic "no power" issue.

In anticipation of giving up the ghost, perhaps there is something I missed. I keep reading posts and blogs where people have similar issues but there seems to always be a drained battery, a wonky adapter, or at the very least an adapter light ring that works. Starting with the DC was consistantly the direction they were steered towards...

Any thoughts are apppreciated.

Try resetting the PMU (Power Management Unit), http://www.tekserve.com/service/mac-faq/...

Try to replace the battery connector that connects the battery to the logic board. If this part is loose or broken then it can cause the PowerBook not to receive the battery power that it needs to start charging or turn on. These computers need some battery life to turn on if I remember correctly.
