My ps5 wants me to reinstall the system software but it wont let me

I recently bought a ps5 that wont turn on because I thought I might be able to fix it. When I start the ps5 it automatically starts in safe mode and tells me to reinstall the system software from the PlayStation site. I followed all the steps like getting a Usb drive, making 2 folders and installing the new software. When I plug that USB in to the PlayStation it tells me to wait and after a while the screen just turns black. The PS5 still give a white light like it does when it's on but the screen is completely black and won't do anything. When I try to shut it off, it won't let me. And when I unplugged it, it of course instantly turned of. But when I start it again it gives me the exact same message and does the exact same as before when I try to reinstall the system software. Please help me...

When you install PS5>update> PS5 update.pup, if you get an error, it could be the SSD drive on the PlayStation console is failing. Or some other logic board issue. A corrupt bios erasable programmable ReadOnlyMemory or EPROM can cause this

These are the basic logic board functionality Checks: these power rails are on the board to make sure all the power rails are correctly doing their job and delivering the correct voltage with a Multimeter.

In VDC mode:

Measure with the black probe on a metal shield anywhere on the device (ground) and then touch the red probe to the pad or component shown here:

I'd try to program the ROM on the PlayStation following this (below) guide to swap bios files

I'd image and backup your eprom before you try anything. I recommend DMDE for imaging drives and recovering data

I'd look around for bios dumps on forms like tronicsfix or bad caps link below to firmware dump.

Hopefully, you're able to figure this out with this information! Best of luck and happy fixing.
