Hey K.Shrutik, How goes it? The beeping sound from your Dell Inspiron 15 5558 after the Windows 10 update could be due to a few reasons. Here's how to troubleshoot:

1. Beep Code Diagnosis:

The beeping pattern can be a code indicating a hardware issue. Look for the specific beep pattern your laptop is making (number of beeps and intervals). You can find a guide to Dell Inspiron 5558 beep codes on Dell's website or through a web search for "[Dell Inspiron 5558 beep codes]". The code will point you towards a possible cause, like RAM failure or CMOS battery issue.

2. Windows 10 Compatibility:

While uncommon, the Windows 10 update might not be fully compatible with your laptop's hardware. This could lead to various issues, including beeping sounds.

3. Hardware Issues:

The charging system issue you mentioned before the update could be related to the beeping now. A loose connection on the motherboard or a failing component could be causing both problems.

Here's what you can try:

  • Check the Beep Code: Identify the beep code and see what hardware issue it might indicate.
  • Roll Back Windows Update (if possible): If you can access Windows normally, try rolling back the Windows 10 update and see if the beeping stops. This can be done through the Windows Settings menu.
  • Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your Dell Inspiron 15 5558. You can find these on Dell's support website for your specific model.
  • Run Dell Diagnostics: Dell provides diagnostic tools you can use to check your hardware for issues. You can find them on Dell's support website.
  • Contact Dell Support: If none of the above solutions work, it's best to contact Dell Support. They can help diagnose the issue further and recommend a solution, which might involve repairs or component replacements.

Additional Tips:

  • Open the back panel (if comfortable): If you're comfortable opening your laptop, you can visually inspect for any loose connections or damaged components. However, be cautious and follow a disassembly guide specific to your Dell Inspiron 15 5558 model to avoid damaging anything.

It's important to note that troubleshooting hardware issues can be complex. If you're not comfortable with the above steps, it's best to take your laptop to a qualified computer repair technician.
