I'm not getting any sound coming from my speakers.

Assuming you are talking about the hp-pavilion-dv2000; you should download and install the latest sound drivers for that laptop

Side note; this laptop only officially supports Windows XP, i would highly recommend upgrading to a newer device if possible.

If not possible for whatever reason, I do not recommend using Windows XP on the internet.

If somehow you have this 2007 laptop running a newer version of windows, you may not be able to get drivers for Windows 10 / 11, and might want to try running a Linux OS instead.
