2nd layer of tape on iMac Screen

I removed the second layer of tape that was on the iMac screen. It's only afterwards I saw in a answered post I wasn't supposed to.the what are my options from this point forward. It was a 3am bright idea. So no putting it back.

The function of the tape is to isolate the displays shield from the case for EMI isolation. I went to a local DIY car store and got 3M 3/4" Black Vinyl Tape - 6415 to fix a customers system. Use the image in Step 24 in this guide iMac Intel 27" 5K Retina-scherm Vervanging van het scherm to help you figure out where to put the tape.
