My Lenovo laptop when I switch it on it turns on then shows the logo an load for several minutes then it start to turn on and off randomly not going to the homescreen...what could be the problem?

Since it was released around 2014, it probably has an older Legacy Boot-type BIOS, rather than an EFI one, like on newer laptops. My Dell Latitude E6500 had this same problem. All you've got to do is try to enter the BIOS, then run a diagnostic test because the hardware verification file sometimes gets corrupted, making the machine think that there is something wrong with its hardware.
