LG 55UH6030 4K Smart TV Screen Dim

I started with a screen that was flickering on the right side when plugged in the outlet.

I tore it down and replaced the two LED strips at the bottom of the screen with these:

I put it all back together and have a viewable picture, but it is now really dim, being brighter at the bottom and fading darker towards the top.

I checked energy saving, backlight level, and picture brightness, and none of those made a difference. I took it apart again to double check I had all of the screen layers in correctly.

I checked voltages on the power board while powered on and have 275v on both LED+ wires at the front and back of the connector. I also have 13.25v on the middle wires at the connector going to the main board.

I did notice that if I unplug the main board from the power board, the LEDs do not light when plugged in the outlet. I would be grateful for any advice. Thank you.

Found the service manual for your TV. Based on what I was able to find I believe you'll need to replace the power supply board to correct this issue.

I replaced the power board with the replacement model #EAY64388821 and now have a new problem.

When first plugged in, the LG logo appears and it does this immediately and then goes black after a few seconds:

When I press the power button, the screen pulses a few times about every 3 seconds then stops and looks like this:

The new power board now has 195v at the LED+ wires at the connector and 13.35v on the middle prongs of the main board connector.

Notice the light still fades dimmer as it goes up the screen as well, so no change there. Only difference here appears to be the loss of the picture I had before with no change in the backlight brightness.

Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for following up and for the pictures! Referring back to the service manual, page 43 seems to have a troubleshooting flow that addresses your situation (assuming the issue is no video or audio). The new power board has normal voltage, so the troubleshooting suggestion points to replacing the main board.

I replaced the main board and there was no change. The screen still looks like the pictures above. Could it be a bad t-con board?
