Replaced battery, trackpad not working

Hi, I just got a MacBook 12 Inch Battery Replacement for my early 2015 A1534 "core M" laptop - followed all the instructions to replace the battery, powered it on low voltage, and now it powers up, but I can't use the trackpad - it won't register at all. Any insights on what I can do?

Thank you!! I ended up just taking it apart and re-adjusting the track-pad and it worked - it just wasn't fully connected, apparently.
