When changing hard drive battery stoped working

Hello. Today i wanted to change my hardrive to new one. But when i tried to boot my Macbook from battery it stoped working. But when i plug in my charger it turns on and works normally even when i unplug it. How can i fix it?

@sewerynsol11326 - What does the head look like? If you followed the guide these two screws look like the battery hold down screws but one should be a bit longer. Reference Step 3 in the guide I linked in my comment in My answer below (Blue URL link).

I would install this gem of an App CoconutBattery it would allow you to see more clearly what is happening. Post a snapshot of the apps main window so we can see it too.

@sewerynsol11326 Sorry it’s a macOS app. Even still you can create a bootable macOS drive (a 32GB USB thumb drive will do). You will need a Mac system to create it though.


The tools you need are all macOS based as they access the deeper API calls within the hardware.

Question. Because after disassrmbly i have 2 random black screws. Are macbooks 2010 have some weird spots where screws need to be so battery can work?

@sewerynsol11326 - Did you follow this guide? MacBook Pro 13" Unibody mid 2010 Vervanging van de batterij give it a review and post a picture of the screws if the guide fails to show you tThere location so we can try to figure things out.
