No Headset Speaker or Flash

I first had intermittent earpiece speaker issues, eventually that died. Then flash was disabled.

I bought a headset speaker and flash module (ali express because ifixit doesn't have flash). I replaced it all and still no sound or flash. "Camera in use" for flash and just no sound at all for speaker.

Any ideas?

Also I totally peeled the display from the frame, instead of frame from phone. The guide warned me but I thought I was doing it right even after reading it. Which tape should I use for that? The display is still functional.

I appreciate your write up. My pixel is having the same issue with the speaker and flashlight and I'll know not to try this as it didn't work for you.

Glad to save someone time and money. This was the worst Google purchase I made. Older pixels were quality, the 7 Pro at least was not.
