im locked out of my phone, how to do hard reset?

1. Turn the phone off, if it isn't already
2. Press and hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for a few seconds
3. Use the volume up and volume down buttons to scroll through the menu until you get to "Recovery Mode"
4. Press the power button to select this option
5. Once you see the Android in distress, press and hold the power button
6. Press the volume up button while still holding the power button
7. You will get to another menu. Use the volume up and volume down buttons to scroll through the menu until you get to the "Wipe data/factory reset option".
8. Press the power button to select this option.
9. To confirm, again select "Factory Data Reset". The phone will now perform the Factory Reset procedure.
