Why my laptop shutdown after 30 minutes of use

My laptop shutdown after 30 minutes of use continuously.I have shutdown the laptop and start it again, the problem reappeared. Now i have tried the same method repeatedly but its no more responding. please what should i do. Help me.

Can you hear the fan running OK?

Does it do this with the charger connected?
