How to get rid of bad smell that is coming from the behind of the frid

My refrigerator is smelling really very bad from the place where it stores the water(behind). technician is telling that my LG refrigerator model num GL-T292RASN/2019 is having fixed cap if he tries to remove it.It will start leaking.Tell me how to fix this ...my home is stinking because of this.
