So I'm trying to replace my battery on a samsung galaxy s7 and the back panel still won't come off even after blisteringly hot heat from a hairdryer. Is there any way I can use something other than heat to help get the adhesive off?

You will need a tool to remove the back working round the edges the glue that holds it is all round the edges and in the middle and if you have not done this before it will probably break it a repleacement in cheap

@esaiboatrig2973 you need the back to be at about 140 deg F for the adhesive to soften. I would suggest either a heat gun and a good thermometer, or a hot plate to accomplish this. Yes, do wear some gloves since it will be unpleasant to hold your phone while doing this.

@esaiboatrig2973 are you referring to the back glass? Has it ever been disassembled before? Any change in adhesive?
