Something wrong with your processor fan/censor. check that.
Always happen to Toshiba L745, L765, L755 and the previous versions.

Check for dust and blow it out first and see if that helps. More then likely it will not and you'll need to redo the thermal paste on the processor which requires a motherboard removal on these. It isn't complicated but it's time consuming on these.
On these a Phillips #00 does the job for the most part. You may need a #000 for a few small screws but those are not common.

is the device shutting down after 15 minutes of use?
is the device sleeping after 15 mins of inactivity?

@crisspycamp What operating system are you using? Is the device plugged into the wall when this is happening? What condition is the main battery in? Have you opened the device up and checked if the backup battery is okay?
