I have problems with the cable connector

I have problems when I use it with cable, I tested it with another cable and the problem is the same.
the issue is in the female connector (left side)
When I write to BOSE they offers a replacement, but at the end the price is the same as they are offering in Amazon (with Prime discount)
The headphone is brand new, I don't like to replace it for a new one,

If they are brand new they should be replaced under warranty.

Sorry, it's not new and it's without warranty.

It's ok, no scratches, no problems.

When I asked Bose they offered an exchange for a new one with a discount, but this discount is less than Bose offers in Amazon Prime day.

They only problem it has is the connection, sometimes is noisy.

I was finding the spare part in the web without success. I don't like the idea to trash it only for a spare part or 20 box or less.

@danielodessky it sounds like it could be a bad joint on the connector. If you can, open it up and check the connections for a loose or cold joint. I had a headset with a similar issue and it was a bad joint. Resoldering them all solved the problem.

Hi Nigel, I opened it, everything looks ok, no solder problems, it's the connector.

But I found an easier solution. I bought in Amazon an AUX to BT adaptor, I paid $12, I received it a few minutes ago and works great with my computer and TV (I can use the Bose QC35 without cable with my TV!!!)

The next week I will test it in the plane.

I guess is the best solution, of course, the battery life is better with cable without BT, and now I need to control the battery of my headphone and the dongle. But it's better than spend $220 in the replacement.

Thanks!

@danielodessky you could try cleaning the connector with some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud. Wet it with the alcohol and work it in and out of the connector a few times.
