My samsung chromebook 4 laptop shut off and is blinking a green light.
I have a samsung chromebook 4 laptop that i bought in march of 2022 and while i was watching something on it it randomly shut off and started blinking a green light. I thought it just powered off so i tried pressing the power button but that didnt work. I panicked and looked online and tried the esc+restart+ power button method but that didnt work either . someone help me is this severe is this permanent will it turn on eventually if i wait. I just turnt 16 i cant do anything that'll cost money. Help.

It was but the light was still blinking so i decided to try and let the charging die in the laptop

If you find the battery discharged by shutting down when using your laptop, can you measure the power adapter/charger output voltage? A search seems to show the power adapter using a usb-c connector which makes nearly impossible to measure voltage outout if you don't know which pins supply power. If this power adapter wiring and plug are mishandled, damage may occur and prevent charging while using your laptop. Unfortunately, the very small usb-c port is fragile and cannot handle repeated jostling when power is connected. Damaging the laptop port would suggest a repair by an experienced repair person. The power pack should have labeling specifying output voltage, measuring the two electrical connectors with a multimeter set on voltage. There be a problem with either a worn out battery after several years use , usb-c port damage or failure of the power adapter charger.
