My Whirlpool washing machine (WTW4915EW1) won't go into high spin.
Hello,
I have a Whirlpool WTW4915EW1.
My washer runs as normal until it low spins and drains. Onced drained the high spin process starts for about 2 seconds and then stops spinning and it begins to make a light ticking noise for the remainder of the spin cycle. Once the spin cycle finishes the washer starts filling up with water again.
So far I have replaced the shift actuator but it did not fix my problem. I have checked all of the major parts for obvious signs of damage. Diagnostics mode shows no error codes. When i put the washer into manual test mode everything functions correctly except high spin. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

Hey! This is my same issue. At the end of the spin cycle the washer filled with water and then wouldnt do anything. Its like stuck and I had to remove the water myself. I asked a parts website for help and they suggested a new shift actuator but I didnt think that was the problem. Did you ever find a solution?

also I could not get my washer to go into diagnostic mode to check for error codes...I have tried so many times. Did you have any issues with getting yours to go into diagnostic mode?
