Can a iBook G4 motherboard be installed into a G3
My G3 is broken and I have an extra G4 motherboard. I'm wondering if I could install it into the G3?

Sell the G3 for parts and buy a G4 unit on eBay that has a faulty logic board then swap the logic board with your good working one. Should not cost you more than $100 minus what you can get for your G3 parts and don't forget that many iBook G3 parts can be used with the iBook G4: battery, AC adapter, LCD panel. hard disk.
