Cathy Meadows sounds like failed capacitor or MOSFET on the main board. This should be covered under manufacturers warranty since it is only 7months old. If you can not get it covered and since schematics are not available, you are bound having to replace the main board. See if you can get a used functioning board so that the expensive is manageable.
