My Seagate external hard drive is not working. I hear sounds of working from it.
But, when I connect to devices like computers. Android phone. TV... they don't show any reaction. What should I do to solve this problem?

Try to take hdd from cady and connect using SATA cables.

i try it with sata cable. but didn't work .
it's spinning normally without any noises or stopping? It's windows or Linux see the HDD at all ?
it works but any os can't recognize.

I think the carrier logic has a problem, if I remember correctly the drives are a custom design which won’t work directly via a SATA connection.
See if you can find a second carrier unit see if that solves the issue.

No, I think there is a problem with a part of the hard drive. I would like to know if anyone knows how to repair an external hard drive And basically, can it be a problem with a part on the external hard drive?
OK, let’s say there is a drive issue do you have access to a second drive unit to swap out?
The controller part is part of the carrier or if the mechanical park of the drive is failing then you will need to ship the drive to someone who specializes in data recovery. That’s assuming you have something of value you need to recover, warning! This could be expensive and depending on what failed not recoverable.

Does the drive appear in device manager if you connect to a computer? If so see if you can format it. I think it’s fat32 but double check.

Have you tried connecting the HDD using a different, known working, compatible USB cable, you didn't say?
