HDMI port changed and still cannot get an image. Help please!

I have been hearing the word out on the streets that xb hdmi port if very flimsy this time around. Got a new port solder in and still no image. I have seen people talk about the ic and other talking about the diode. Can someone explain to me what is going on? Is my xb rip?
