Hi

You will most likely need to reboot it

Here’s a how to do it

Make sure the Hold switch is unlocked the hold the middle button and the menu button until it restarts and you see the apple logo

If that doesn’t work you may need to restore the iPod in iTunes or finder depending on what type of computer you have
