Radio not turning on; AVH-280BT

I was trying to setup some new speakers in my car and while I was testing them the rear speakers weren't playing so I switched some RCA cables while music was playing (cuz I'm clearly a professional....) and heard some popping noise. The radio stopped working. I went ahead and turned the car off, disconnected the battery and checked the fuse (on the back of the radio). The fuse was blown, I switched it and tried turning it on and nothing happened still. I checked the cars fuse box and they were fine. What should I do?

Check the yellow and red power leads in the deck's wiring harness and make sure they're both receiving power. There might have been another fuse somewhere in the chain that blew. Also check the replacement fuse in the deck - these little fuses are easy to insert incorrectly and they can even fail when they look like they're fine. The deck's fuse has two tiny metal points that you can use to test - make sure there's +12v at both of the fuse's points. If there's power to both leads and the deck's fuse is good, then try "hard" resetting the deck using the procedure in the owner's manual.
