Your WiFi password is on a sticker on the router if you forgot it.

@simone_i There's no settings menu if the phone has been restored. WiFi connect screen shows up as you go through the set up process.

Let's start by ruling out the obvious: the wi-fi password you typed in might not be correct, touch the Home Key > Menu Key > System settings > Wi-Fi, touch the Wi-Fi network name and then touch "Forget". Restart the phone and try to connect again; for the sake of convenience, in case of a really long and complex password you could also use WPS, altough it's not recommended to keep this feature enabled (read https://www.tomsguide.com/us/home-router... for further details): Touch WPS symbol in Wi-Fi menu and press the WPS button on the access point, it will recognize your phone and automatically add it to the network

@strongbow you're right OP is definitely going through setup process, I assumed the psw had been typed in alredy, that explains the drop down menu not being displayed

Alternatively, you can also perform a hard reset by tapping Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory data reset > Reset phone > Erase everything.
