MacBook Pro 15" 2018 Display not working.

I have a MBP 2018 with Touchbar. Model A1990, EMC 3215. One day i was done using the laptop so i shut it down and closed it up. The next day, the screen would not display anything. It turns on and i know this because the fans start to spin then make an abrupt noise and then stop spinning. This continues in a cycle until i disconnect the battery or drain the battery to turn it off. I ran almost every diagnostic imaginable, and tried to hook it up externally but there was no image being displayed on the external monitor. Is this a logic board problem, CPU problem?

This actually sounds less like the display is not working and more like the computer is not booting all the way, like it's failing to POST (Power On Self Test). When you said you've done a bunch of diagnostic tests, just for point of clarification, you've done stuff like an SMC reset or NVRAM reset?

This could be lots of things, and without knowing some extra stuff for sure, it could be difficult to say, but I would wager logic board problem. To narrow down though, I would open up the machine, disconnect everything aside from 1 of the USB C boards (so you can plug in to power on). See if it does the same thing. I would also check with this with the battery connected since sometimes these 15" models can be fussy about turning on without battery plugged in.

If it's still doing it with nothing else connected, chances are it's the board. I have a couple of suspicions, but don't want to conjecture without more info. If you venture to getting the machine open, post some pictures of the internals in your original question!

Yes, after tests done i believe it is less likely to be the display since it will not display on any external monitor. The battery needs to be connected in order for it to show any sign of life, i have tried to turn it on without battery but no success. I have tried a SMC reset and NVRAM reset, also i have drained the battery, reconnected it and tried but still the same cycle.

Here is a link to a video showing the cycle that the fans are doing, along with the abrupt noise before they stop running. This happens with no charger plugged in as well.
