Will the aftermarket battery sold here: "MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010-2017) Battery" be compatible with the model md231x/a?

According to powerbookmedic.com's information page, model md231x is a Mid-2012 13.3" MacBook Air model.
Since it falls within the date range specified for the battery (Late 2010-2017) and is the correct size (13"), it is the right one for your MacBook.

Yes as you can see in the iFixit parts listing MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010-2017) Battery
