I just got this laptop and and was looking what ribbon cable it needed and it just popped off, I dont know nor have the items needed to solder it back on I dont know if it even needs to be solder is this easily replaceable or do I have to get a new motherboard?

That's rough bud. That's gonna require a healthy set of soldering skills to fix. Would you mind if you can tell me what that ribbon cable would normally do?
If you can find the part I'd say replace it and try not to replace the board as I personally would love to fix a computer like this. Let me know how it goes or of any updates on the situation

I had a simual problem with my 3ds but it wouldn’t grip the cable hmm that looks kinda bad maybe send it in or idk
