Phone doesn't charge when connected to chargers.

It always shows the notification that charging connected device via USB, although there is no device connected. When I plug in a charger, it does not charge. But when I open the USB preferences and change the USB-connection to be managed by the pixel and plug in a charger at the same time, it works. I was using this option to charge my phone for a while, everytime I connect my charger i change the setting in USB preferences, now that has also stopped working.

My Google chargers seems to charge other devices so i don't think it's the cable or the charger

I have cleaned the USB C port on my phone and the software is upto date.

The phone charges wirelessly but it's too slow and is not convenient for me.

Kindly help please.

john babu since this "change the USB-connection ...and plug in a charger at the same time, it works" until it finally quit working too, is a pretty good indication that some component on your charging board has failed. Schematics are a bit hard to come by so I would opt for taking a chance and replacing that assembly. Google Pixel 3 XL Charging Assembly Replacement
