Attempting to restore always fails (error 4013)

I disconnected every single sensor, only left battery and dock (USB) port sensors connected.

My device by default already always goes into "Recovery Mode". From there using iTunes or 3UTools, as soon as I select a firmware or backup and click on "Restore" system boots into "installing update/firmware mode", I see the spinning wheel for 2-3 seconds and then system boots back again into Recovery Mode and obviously no update gets installed and nothing works. What am I missing?

This is most likely a hardware fault. The CPU cannot communicate with the NAND it could be a faulty CPU or faulty NAND most likely the latter. The repair would be expensive and only viable if the data needed to be recovered.

@itestandroid yeah that's rough Chris is likely right. Your NAND chips have likely got some kind of false data that has corrupted it all.

Did this just randomly happen or did something (EG a surge in voltage or an overnight update) lead to this. I have an Apple watch S4 that had software corruption but a secret trick has brought it back to life.
