iPhoto crashing and non-functional in Macs running 10.7.1

I've had four customers call in as many days all have upgraded to 10.7.1 and all report problems with iPhoto. They go to open it the first time, it crashes and then fails to appears in the Applications folder. All machines have the latest updates. I know a couple of them had iLife '11 installed. Does anyone know about this problem or have a fix?

How is it in 10.7.3 as 10.7.3 hasn't been released to the public yet so these people are using the developers version of osx. This may just be a bug in the beta that has yet to be resolved.

Since these customers have 10.7.1 and the latest version is 10.7.2 then I would assume that they don't have all the updates in place. Apple has released an update that once it is in place stops iPhoto from crashing and since this came out after the 10.7.2 then in order to have it they would need 10.7.2. I don't know if this would help but they might just need to update iPhoto and Lion. This also appears to have resolved it going missing in the Apps folder.
