Bottom screen of my DS Macro gets too bright after 5min

I have a DS Macro or GBA Macro as you like to call it, the lower screen after being on for more than 10 minutes begins to take on a lot of brightness, I tried to clean the flex cable, readjust it and change the brightness of the screen from the settings but the problem continues . Does anyone know if it is definitely the screen and it has to be changed, or is it something else, I would greatly appreciate the help

Hi @starkiller4k,

This a problem with the back light of your NDS.
It could be either the back light itself, or something related with the luminosity control circuit.

I never had to fix any similar on my NDS so I cannot tell you for sure, but if I were you I would try first replacing the lower screen to see if that solves your issue.

The other option would be to debug the motherboard and check on the screen controller if the line that controls the luminosity of the screen changes with the time. If this happens, then you may conclude that the issue is with the screen luminosity control circuit, rather than with the screen itself.

I think I'll try to use another screen, the problem is that in my region they are just as expensive as a complete DS, I really appreciate it, I just wanted to check if there was any other solution or something that I was overlooking
