I was just messing around on FBI (Homebrew application.) and my shell broke, I have dropped it several times, but the hinge broke spontaneously…

Take a 2DS XL Shell Replacement Guide. I don’t have a 2DS XL, but I’ve seen a shell on Amazon. Maybe try one of those?
