iPod screen replacement pops up

I replaced the screen and made sure I did not have any ribbon cables in the way of the emi shield but the screen just slightly pops up on 1 side? does it have something to do with that metal plate?

here are pics

PREP,PREP,PREP!!! iPod 4 screen replacement is all about the surface preparation before the new screen is installed. Make sure the digitizer cable is folded the correct way. if you cant get it to stay down and you are sure the cable is folded, place a teny tiny bit of super clue in the ip 2 corners. No more problems.

It looks like it's more than slightly popped up.

It might be you don't have the digitizer cable folded properly.

There is alot of discussion about this. Look over the q&a's.

No doubt you took it apart again. Did you figure it out?

I had the same problem but I had the screen replaced and after that I dropped it again. The screen is still ok but it seems I dented the backplate too much and now my iPod touch 4 doesnt respond the way it should. Like I would click "A" and it would touch a button far from it. I'm Planning to get the back fixed for 30 :/
