White Line after replacing battery

Replaced my battery recently and cannot get this white line on the screen to go away. Got the new battery installed, tested it, and everything worked fine. Disconnected and installed the new water seal, then got it put back together and now have a vertical white line through the screen. I have unplugged and replugged in every cable always disconnecting the battery first but to no help. Still a white line in the same exact spot. Everything else works just fine like touch ect. I even tried cleaning all connections with some alcohol but that didnt help either.

You will need to try a replacement screen. The flex on the one you are using could have been bent too much when removing and installing it. Make sure you replace it with an OLED screen and not LCD.

Had this problem when I took my cousin’s phone apart after it decided it was thirsty for lake water, my pry tool slipped and cracked the display because I was trying to hurry. Wasn’t super noticeable and screen worked otherwise, but it was cracked. I would try another display.

One tip from me.

Never be in hurry, never!

When you are experiencing some new problems, always check for solutions in internet/youtube and take your time to fix it.

I made some mistakes when I was in hurry and in the end you can only blame yourself...
