Are you inserting the vacuum into the wand or the wand into the head that runs on the floor?
Did you look inside where it should be inserted to see if there is something small in the way of getting a tight fit?

Thanks for your email.
It happens when inserting the wand into the vacuum.
I did check for something in the way but it was clear.
It is like the spring in the release button of the wand at times not strong enough to make the release button click.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
