Should I attempt to replace the battery on my phone

My phone has an odd issue where it force shuts down (black screen, no shutdown screen) when the battery drops below about 70% and the phones resources are being used. ie: cpu or ram, not sure. Once this happens it when i try to turn it on it will boot to lock screen but when signing in crashes again (probably because starting processes i imagine) unless it is charging. I have tried using a different OS (custom rom) with no success and I am now wondering if i should invest in trying to replace the battery?

The Battery on this model is easy enough to replace. If you think it is that battery, go for it.

iFixit has a good guide on how to replace the battery so you can do it yourself.

hello i think if you want to change the battery you could

but if you phone has that circle at the bottom of it so when you click it it turns on your phone press and hold that button and press and hold the turn of putton at the same time. If you do not have i press and hold the turn of button and press and hold the volume up button.
