My PlayStation 3 fat won’t load in games, and when it does it freezes.

So I’m having a problem with my ps3. I just changed the hdd to a 1tb one. I’ve confirmed that it works fine! And when I try to load into games it freezes normally with a black screen. Sometimes it manages to enter the game and then freezes shortly after. The games I play are digital so it’s not a faulty disc. Pls help, what should I do
