Why does my hp printer not copy onto paper

why does my hp printer not copy onto paper? it goes through the printer and outputs a blank copy. my ink level says full.

Hi,

Can you print a document using a computer connected to the printer?

Being pedantic but can you "scan" a document as opposed to copying a document?

Have you tried to copy a document by lifting the lid and placing the document on the platen glass, then closing the lid and selecting the paper type and then pressing Start Copy Black?
