Down jackets wrap you in soft warmth, insulating your core from freezing temperatures and wind. They are highly compressible, extremely lightweight for their warmth, and ultra-comfortable for all day use.

I have a small hole in my jacket. Can I use super glue?

I have a 1mm size hole from a fire ember that landed on my jacket. Can I use super glue to fix it? Or should I patch it with tenacious tape/ripsail tape/etc.? Thanks!

I would get a type of fabric glue called BEACON Fabri-tac. Clear bottle with yellow triangle on the top of the label area& big Red& small blue letters &a long red plastic cap. I got mine at Michaels craft stores, but it's at JoAnn Fabrics, walmart, & amazon for around $10. It's quick grab and clear & works on a variety of materials so youll find other uses for it. I've personally used this product for fixing a pillowcase, a shoe, and a leather jacket.

Super glue works. Especially if you aren’t anal and apply the glow to some of the down sticking out. Down clothes do work but in order to get that puffy buoyancy very light encasing material is used. Best to wear a down sweater and a heavier material jacket over it.
