Will not turn on or respond to keyboard

After changing the battery (purchased from ifixit) as per the directions on the ifixit website my machine will not turn on and access if the keyboard is not working or the display. The battery has charged because the MagSafe went from orange to green. I tried everything with Apple support all the control shift options and nothing. Please help
