Experiencing issues after repairing the screen on my Samsung Galaxy A5

Recently, I dropped my Samsung Galaxy A50 and broke the LCD screen. Since I already had some experience with electronics repair and had the tools I would need, I decided to repair the screen myself, ordering a replacement on parts4cell. During disassembly, there was a flexible part attached to the middle frame of the phone which ripped a little bit, but the rest of the repair process went smoothly and when I turned on the phone after reassembling it the screen worked and everything was functioning. 5 minutes later however, the screen went black and although I knew the phone was still on because I was receiving notifications, the screen would not work. Does anybody have an idea of how to fix this?
