please help me find wires coming from 'frame'

It was a combination of being unable to read all the number plus how the ‘frame’ wa attached. Seems anything attached from the aluminum frame from inside the iMac was pulled loose by the wires. So my display is dead black.

Would you help me identify what needs to go back and how to tell where ?

Yes and no. I can post where I see two severed wires. But I don't know if that's all that I should find. Also, after just opening it again, I don't see anything from the frame connecting to an inverter or where it is.

Reading the earlier posts I'd suspect the inverter or the black screen. It wouldn't cause the absence of the startup chime though.

My concern was that I'm sometimes SPATIALLY CHALLENGED. In step 5 is that top/bottom/side ? And does any. of these wires affect the startup chime ?

That is the top of the frame by the isight camera and even I am having a hard time specially on this photo and I've done a hundred of these. There will be what looks like scotch tape wrapping that connection and it will need to be removed.
