Why is there no gallery app on BLU phones?

I just got a BLU G5 smartphone a few days ago, and then today I just finished setting up my next phone, a BLU V70 (it wasn’t on the list of devices, so the question says Vivo 5 instead). Neither phone has a Gallery app installed, like every other unlocked android phone I’ve ever owned does. Instead, there is only Google Photos pre-installed; do they want you to use this as your default gallery app instead of an actual gallery app? Is there any way to get a default android gallery app that doesn’t automatically sync to the cloud? For the G5, I just installed a gallery app from the Play Store, but it’s annoying and has ads.


Any advice would be much appreciated!

Well, google does have a net worth bigger than the sun so some corporate interest games are definetely at play with phone companies.

I’d recommend ‘‘simple galery’’, it’s pretty straightforward, no ads.
