The Early 2009 Mac Pro—also known as the Mac Pro 4,1—introduced Intel's Nehalem architecture to Apple's line of professional desktop computers in March 2009. The Mac Pro 5,1 used the same interior design but received further CPU updates in 2010 and 2012.

No Display Input on monitor

So I recently installed macOS Catalina using dosdude1’s patcher on my mac pro 2010 model. After rebooting from the completion of the 1st installation phase, my computer rebooted as normal but it would not show any input on my monitor at all.

The display input has always had a problem, i.e. while booting the monitor would not receive input until the computer is fully booted on the operating system macOS Mojave.

The system is still receiving all power.

I am not sure if this is a driver problem.

The graphics card and ram has been updated from,

RAM: 3GB (3x1gb sticks) to 1x 16gb OWC memory.

Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Card to Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 OC 8GB GDDR5 Graphics Card RX 480

This is standard when using the DosDude app. It has to fully boot up before the display activates. Go back and re-read the things to watch for when using the patch.
