wont start two flasing lights

My old whirlpool washer front loader wouldnt drain. After removal of front access removed pump blockage from access chamber. Was able to drain by laying pipe on floor. However start/stop and timer indicator continue to flash rapidly. Machine will not stop flashing. I have switched it of for hours etc. and tried pressing buttons etc. Is there a reset I need to do
