True tone in Ifixit replacement screen

Hi all.

I broke recently my screen on my iPhone 8+.

So I bought a new screen from Ifixit, as long with a ICopy Plus from QianLi to restore the ALS/True Tone.

The disassembly of the old screen went quite smoothly, plugged the old screen to the ICopy, the read it without any issue…connected the new screen…and nothing.

The Icopy is unable to read the screen eeprom…so I’m unable to restore ALS/True Tone on the new screen.

Have you been facing such issues?
