Several tiny 1px wide stripes on LCD

Hello, I would like to ask you about this issue with screen. Tiny approx. 1px wide stripes from top to bottom. In total 8 groups of 4 stripes (32 stripes). Visible only on grey background. On white, black, not visible, on other colors sometimes yes. Any idea what can be damaged? Any cable, or whole GPU? Please see attached pictures :-) Thank you very much for your thoughts.

Regards Otto

The T-CON board on the back of the display assembly needs to be replaced. What you are seeing is a timing error and the Moiré effect interference is also related.

You’ll need to take the display assembly off iMac Intel 27" EMC 2390 Display Replacement then carefully remove the metal cover where the LVDS cable enters.

Here’s the full display: 2010 27” iMac Display Assembly, Apple P/N 661-5568, LG display # LM270WQ1(SD)(C2) or LM270WQ1(SD)(C1): Used Grade-A

Here’s the T-CON board alone: 6870C-0355A_Rev0.0_DVT LM270WQ1-SDC1 Logic T-CON TCON board for LG iMac 27" LM270WQ1(SD)(C1)
