Light not turning off?

My Kenmore Elite washer has the inside light on. I have unplugged and replugged several times. The light is not directly attached to the door, Its inner entrance. Idk what to do, i thought maybe something was plugging, so I cleaned everything, filter etc. But still the light stays on even without power.
